For and instant coffee this packs the same punch and taste of fresh coffee shop. Dairy free so good for a range of people. I did add sugar and cream to get my perfect taste. A nice indulgent treat ideal for any stays away from ones coffee machine. I will mix them in with my normal routine.

Grecia

Amazing coffee, quick way to make a latte in seconds without having to queue!

Carrie

This is literally the best coffee I have tasted in my life. It’s definitely going to be a daily luxury just for me!

I bought this for my partner as I don’t really drink coffee (low caffeine tolerance). He was so impressed and his words were: “this is honestly the best instant coffee I’ve ever had! I want more to take to work”. He was dreaming about making his next one an iced latte with cream on top. I tried to see what the fuss was about and I totally agree! It didn’t need any sugar or sweetener - it was just right for us! We love going to Amsterdam and this just reminded us of our lovely city breaks, relaxing by the canals and sipping a coffee. I’d highly recommend and look forward to buying more in the future.

Frequently asked questions

What is the list of ingredients?

Non-Dairy Creamer (Glucose Syrup, Vegetable Oil, Sodium Caseinate (Milk), Salt, Stabilizer (E340ii), Emulsifier (E452i, E471, E472e, Anti-Caking Agent (E551, Natural flavouring), Sugar, Instant Coffee.

How to prepare your coffee?

  • Step 1: Tear sachet open and empty full contents (30g) into a mug.
  • Step 2: Add 200ml of boiling hot water. Want a less sweet-tasting coffee? Increase to 300ml
  • Step 3: Stir for 20-30 seconds until fully dissolved & enjoy

Why is it important to measure the right amount of water to add?

I love watching Nigella Lawson cook on TV as much as a fat kid loves cake. But I can't stand it when she’s vague about how much of an ingredient to add. Portion size really matters! The same goes for our coffee.

If you add less than 200ml of water, you’ll probably notice that Lotus Dream tastes way too sweet. After personally chugging down countless liters, I’ve found that 200ml is the sweet spot for a perfect cup.

That said, if you prefer your coffee to taste less sweet, try adding up to 300ml of hot water. Just keep in mind that adding more than 300ml could leave your coffee tasting pretty watered down. But hey, you do you!

How many servings are recommended per day?

As much as I love drinking Lotus Dream coffee, I prefer to stick to no more than 1 cup a day. I might cheat a bit and treat myself to 2 cups every now and then, but I try not to because of the amount of sugar in each serving. Also, each serving contains quite a high dose of robusta coffee so it is much more potent than regular coffee you might be used to.

Moderation is key people ;)

When can I expect to receive my purchase?

UK orders are fulfilled from our warehouse near Manchester (go ManU!). If you place your order before 2pm, Monday through Friday, you can usually expect it to arrive the very next day. We ship with Royal Mail Tracked 24, so you’ll receive an email with tracking details to follow your shipment’s progress.

Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday and should reach you by Tuesday.

Just keep in mind, this all depends on Royal Mail sticking to their promise, your delivery driver resisting the urge to keep all the coffee and cookies for themselves, and there being no freak weather events to delay things. ;)

Do you offer subscriptions?

Not yet! Willmos Lotus Dream is still new, so I’m focusing on seeing how much you all love it first. Once I’ve got that figured out, a subscription option could be in the works.
